The Role:

We are now looking for a talented Power Electronics Engineer who can bring great attitude, intellect and real world experience to the team.

 

This is a technical lead role and you will be charged with setting the standards for research, innovation, design, robustness and quality of manufacture.  You will also be advising from a concept stage on future products and influencing development of existing lines.

Key Skills:

Applications are invited from individuals who can offer experience in all or some of the following areas :

• Design to meet durability / EMC and usability standards
• Products with an emphasis on sustainability and efficiency.
• Designing a range of power devices (examples: power supplies, motor control, DC-DC converters, inverters, starters)
• Being involved in a design from initial brief, right through the full development cycle to DFM. 
• Previous staff management and mentoring experience

 

Ideal applicants will have a minimum of 5 years of design experience and will demonstrate a genuine interest in pushing the envelope in advanced renewable energy and power electronics systems.
