Graduate Software Engineer

The Company: 

 
Our client is an international technology company that specialise in providing data, voice and media communications solutions.

Their operations here in Christchurch is the group's largest development centre producing some of the company's leading edge products.
 
Business in good and improving and we have been asked to come up with four capable, keen and talented graduate engineers.

The Role:
 
This is a graduate role and your first task will be to get to grips with the various existing protocols and standards in the industry.
 Secondly, you will be using your software talents to design and maintain better, faster and more sustainable systems for the future.
 
As a design engineer, you will become involved in developing quality software components.  This involves understanding and implementing good design principles, coding up, and testing / commissioning these elements.
 
You will be:
 
 
Although you will be working primarily within the software team, you will also liaise with the hardware engineers, test engineers and management.  This will give you invaluable experience in the production of work-class high technology products.
