Registered Architect - looking to go places

The Firm:
This jewel of a practice has a couple of offices around New Zealand from which they have delivered some superb, elegant, quality projects. Ranging from high-end homes which set the standard for design in locations around New Zealand, to multi-storey award-winning inner-city buildings.

Having broken ground in Christchurch, the flow of good work coming in has meant that they can no longer manage the work from the other offices and need a special person to be the face of the newly opened office.

In this well-supported role, you will however, be the first full-time person in the Christchurch. If you look at as an opportunity with an great upside, then we should talk.

As mentioned before, there is plenty of work already in, so "business development" is not the core focus, but establishing the practice as a formidable player in the this city will be

The Role:
The person in this role will be the first point of contact initially, handling enquiries, meeting clients, establishing working relationships, providing design concepts etc.

As the office expands, you will be pivotal in the identification of the "right people" needed to make this happen, targeting the best projects and building collaborating networks.

Fundamental to this position is:

Leadership skills - the understanding and drive to build an exceptional office

Architectural Talent - the ability to design and deliver

Local Networks - knowing who to talk to and make things happen

If you have pondered the idea of starting your own practice, then think of this opportunity as having the upside with very little of the downside.

On Offer:
You have the massive benefit and support of a company with years of success, a reputation for quality, the need for another partner, and the backing to make this all happen.

Professional support from the Senior Partners face-to-face

Design and draughting facility from day one.

Established local projects on the go

Serious Partner potential

A portfolio of top projects throughout New Zealand

A unique opportunity to make your mark

Now is the time for action. I will respond personally to all applications.

Please Apply Below, or, for a more detailed discussion, call Lachlan McNeill directly on +64 3 365 6673

Senior Architect - looking to take the lead

Leadership + Talent?

Christchurch is full of opportunities, of that there is no doubt.

For the ambitious Architect, there are normally two future options:

1. Set up your own shingle;and with it carry the risks, costs, trying to balance learning the new skills, marketing and doing the work.

It can be a lot to risk and the downsides can be too much if, like many of us, you have dependents, mortgages, limited funds and time.

2. Stay doing what you are doing. Perhaps you have a cosy job which is just good enough to stop you throwing in the towel.

Where does the future lie along this path? Regret?

What if there was a third option?

What if you could bring your talent, experience and personality and add it to the capacity, reputation and support from a major player in the industry.

What better opportunity to accelerate your future plans?

Here, you have a rare opportunity to control your own destiny right here in the Garden City.

Maximise the upside, minimise the downside, then have fun getting there.

Worth considering?

The Company:

Basically, launching the Christchurch to cater for the projects already on the go and in the pipeline.

Starting as the sole full-time local representative, but with the intention of building the capacity quickly in the New Year, you will initially be the first point of contact for clients, consultants, compliance bodies and suppliers.

The work will be a balance of
Architecture - providing conceptual, design resolution, site attendance on projects
and
Management - ensuring the office runs effectively, work is well managed and all parties are kept informed.

As new opportunities arise, you will be involved in following up the right projects and presenting the capabilities of the practice to clients.

We require:

Professional guidance - from Architects and directors

Financial backing

Business development support - identifying the opportunities for the future.
