Civil Infrastructure Contracts Managers
The Client:
With the rebuild in full swing, we have had an increasing need from our clients for experienced contracts managers. We are currently recruiting for two in the civil space. One is for very specific key projects, the other is city wide civil infrastructure.
The Role:
Both roles will require the need to implement, deliver, manage & direct contracts across significant & complex new projects and remedial works in Christchurch. Working with multiple stakeholders from council through to major contractors and commercial players.
You:
Absolutely essential to both roles is significant contract management experience, 10 years plus and an in depth knowledge of NZS3910. Possibly the next step up for a solid intermediate contracts manager with relevant knowledge and expertise. NZ experience absolutely essential.

Your previous on-site experience within construction and civil infrastructure would be a distinct advantage.
You must have a keen understanding and above all, enjoyment of the finer details of contracts and contract law, which will place you high on the list of suitable candidates.
As a senior and experienced Contracts Manager, you will be expected to lead in the creation, monitoring and direction of complex contracts, RFI's, tenders and RFP's. You will instinctively know when to step in and what to do to keep projects on course for successful completion, whilst using your calm approach to manage a busy and vibrant team as well as driving processes and outcomes.
You will be a pivotal intermediary between client and contractors. In both roles, you will be a key management figurehead and you will naturally strive to aim higher.
